No Water In The Water is vocal work written for SATB, and is based on five lines from a poem called “No Water in The Water” written in 1975 by a Saudi poet Mohammad Al-Ali. The poem expresses a nostalgic longing for the pearl diving tradition that was a common job in the Gulf countries.

No Water In The Water is workshopped by EXAUDI Vocal Ensemble in London.
